The Site's Limited Role

This is a private reference website. It does not hold official arrest, court, warrant, jail, or corrections records and does not speak for a public agency. It cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, arrange a release, accept a filing, change a record, or give an official case status.

The site points visitors toward resources such as the BSRDC roster, Johnson County and Paintsville offices, Kentucky courts, KY DOC, and third-party research tools. The office or provider that controls a record remains responsible for access, accuracy, and any correction.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors must use the site and any information found through it in a lawful, responsible manner.

• Do not violate any federal, Kentucky, or local law.
• Do not stalk, harass, intimidate, or threaten another person.
• Do not use content for hiring, housing, lending, or insurance decisions.
• Do not seek access to accounts, servers, or data without authorization.
• Do not operate bots, crawlers, scrapers, or automated extraction tools.
• Do not interfere with the site's operation or another visitor's access.

No Consumer Reports

Johnson County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. It does not supply background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither it nor its advertising partners provides screening services. By using the site, each visitor agrees not to use its content or linked results for any purpose regulated by the FCRA.

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment decisions
• Rental, housing, or tenant-screening decisions
• Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
• Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility
• Any other decision governed by consumer-reporting law

Third-Party Destinations

Links may lead to jail rosters, booking systems, sheriff and police pages, KY DOC resources, government portals, legal-aid information, or outside search services. Those destinations are independently operated. We do not endorse or control their content, privacy practices, data handling, terms, accuracy, or availability. Review the destination's own rules before using it.

Services Provided As Is

The site, its content, and its features are offered "as is" and "as available." To the extent allowed by law, we make no warranty concerning:

• The accuracy, completeness, or currentness of information
• Continuous or uninterrupted availability
• The absence of errors, defects, or security weaknesses
• The scope or completeness of a partner's search results

Custody status, court files, and public-record systems can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement from the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, Paintsville Police, BSRDC, KY DOC, or another public office.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Johnson County Busted Mugshots and its owners, operators, partners, and contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from access to the site, inability to use it, reliance on its content, or use of an outside service.

Your Duty to Indemnify

A visitor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Johnson County Busted Mugshots and its owners, operators, partners, and contributors from claims, losses, liabilities, expenses, and reasonable legal fees caused by that visitor's use of the site or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Material

Unless a source is identified otherwise, the site's text, graphics, logos, organization, and code belong to Johnson County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, sold, or modified without prior written permission.

Revisions to These Terms

We may revise these conditions at any time. New language takes effect when it is posted on this page. Continued use after posting means the visitor accepts the revised terms.

Suspension of Access

We may restrict, suspend, or end a visitor's access at any time, for any reason, and without prior notice, including when conduct threatens the site, its providers, or other users.

Kentucky Law Applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Kentucky.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, that part will be adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable. Every remaining provision will continue in effect.
